📈 Using the Dex Trading Live dApp with MetaMask

💡 What is Dex Trading Live?​

Dex Trading Live (DTL) is a community-driven DeFi project providing 100% self-custody solutions for interacting with DeFi protocols. The project is based on DeFiMetaChain.

✅ Requirements​

  • MetaMask installed (browser extension)
  • DeFiMetaChain network added to MetaMask
  • DTL tokens in your wallet for staking / liquidity
  • Some DFI for gas fees

⚠️ Without DFI for gas, no transactions can be made!

🔌 Step 1 – Open the dApp & Connect Wallet​

1.1 – Open the dApp​

Open your browser and type the URL manually:

https://dapp.dex-trading.live/staking

⚠️ Always type the URL manually! Phishing sites imitate dApps with similar addresses.

1.2 – Connect Your Wallet​

Click "Connect Wallet" and select "MetaMask".

1.3 – Confirm the Connection in MetaMask​

MetaMask will open automatically:

  1. Check the displayed website address – must be dapp.dex-trading.live
  2. Select your account
  3. Click "Connect"

✅ Your wallet address will appear at the top of the dApp – connection active!

🪙 Step 2 – DTL Token Staking​

DTL Staking uses a vault system with lock periods – the longer you stake, the higher the rewards.

2.1 – Open the Staking Page​

Navigate to the staking page:

https://dapp.dex-trading.live/staking

You will see:

  • Your DTL balance
  • Current APR / reward rate
  • Your active vaults with lock periods

2.2 – Approve the Token (first time only)​

The first time, you need to allow MetaMask to use your DTL tokens:

  1. Click "Approve"
  2. MetaMask opens with an approval request
  3. Check the token (DTL) and amount
  4. Click "Confirm"

ℹ️ Only needed once per token – costs a small gas fee in DFI.

2.3 – Create a Vault & Stake​

  1. Choose your lock period
  2. Enter the DTL amount
  3. Click "Stake"
  4. Confirm in MetaMask

✅ Your vault is active! Rewards accumulate automatically.

💡 Tip – Multiple Vaults: Want different lock periods? Simply use a different wallet address for each vault!

💧 Step 3 – Liquidity Mining​

With Liquidity Mining you provide token pairs as liquidity and earn trading fees and DTL rewards in return.

3.1 – Open the Liquidity Mining Page​

3.2 – Choose a Pool​

Select one of the available pools

3.3 – Add Liquidity​

  1. Enter the amount of the first token
  2. The second token amount is calculated automatically
  3. Click "Add Liquidity"
  4. Approve both tokens in MetaMask (once each, first time only)
  5. Confirm the transaction in MetaMask

✅ You receive LP tokens as proof of your liquidity – these represent your share of the pool.

3.4 – Remove Liquidity​

  1. Click "Remove Liquidity"
  2. Enter the LP token amount
  3. Confirm in MetaMask

⚠️ Be aware of Impermanent Loss when providing liquidity – strong price movements can reduce the value of your position.

🎁 Step 4 – Claim Rewards​

Claim Rewards​

  1. Open your active vault on the staking page
  2. Check your accumulated rewards
  3. Click "Claim"
  4. Confirm in MetaMask

✅ Rewards are transferred directly to your wallet!
