💡 What is the TAX Token?
TAX is a cross-chain memecoin in the DeFiChain ecosystem, running on **DeFiMetaChain.The staking dApp is built on the Crypto Factor infrastructure.

💡 TAX is available as a cross-chain memecoin on multiple blockchains. Make sure you have selected the correct network in MetaMask before using the dApp.
✅ Requirements
- MetaMask installed (browser extension)
- DeFiMetaChain network added to MetaMask
- TAX tokens in your wallet
- Some DFI (on DMC) for gas fees
⚠️ Without gas tokens, no transactions can be made!
🔌 Step 1 – Open the dApp & Connect Wallet
1.1 – Open the dApp
Open your browser and type the URL manually:
https://dapp.tax-token.com/staking
⚠️ Always type the URL manually! Phishing sites imitate dApps with similar addresses.
1.2 – Connect Your Wallet
Click "Connect Wallet" on the homepage and select "MetaMask".
1.3 – Confirm the Connection in MetaMask
MetaMask will open automatically:
- Check the displayed website address:
dapp.tax-token.com
- Select your account
- Click "Connect"
✅ Your wallet address will appear in the top right of the dApp – connection active!
🪙 Step 2 – Stake TAX Tokens
2.1 – Open the Staking Page
You are already on the staking page at /staking. You will see:
- Your TAX balance
- Your currently staked amount
- The current APR / reward rate
2.2 – Approve the Token (first time only)
On first use, you need to allow MetaMask to use your TAX tokens:
- Click "Approve"
- MetaMask opens with an approval request
- Check: Token =
TAX, Website =dapp.tax-token.com - Click "Confirm"
ℹ️ The approval transaction is a one-time step and costs a small gas fee. It only needs to be done once per token.
2.3 – Enter the Amount
Enter the TAX amount you want to stake, or click "Max" to stake everything.
2.4 – Confirm the Stake
- Click "Stake"
- MetaMask opens with the transaction request
- Check: amount and gas fees
- Click "Confirm"
✅ Your TAX tokens are now staked – you will see the updated amount in the dApp!
🎁 Step 3 – Claim Rewards
Staked TAX tokens automatically generate rewards. These are displayed under "Rewards" or "Claimable".
- Click "Claim" or "Collect Rewards"
- MetaMask opens with the transaction request
- Click "Confirm"
✅ Rewards are transferred directly to your wallet!
🔓 Step 4 – Unstake (Withdraw Tokens)
To withdraw your TAX tokens:
- Click "Unstake" or "Withdraw"
- Enter the amount you want to withdraw (or click "Max")
- MetaMask opens with the transaction request
- Click "Confirm"
⚠️ Check if a lock-up period applies before unstaking. Some staking protocols have a waiting period before tokens can be withdrawn.
